It seems like dandelions couldn't possibly be good for much, other than feeding the weed-be- gone industry (and trying your patience). But dandelions aren't all bad. Believe it or not, they carry some potent health benefits.
1. The leaf can be used as a tea for many ailments. You have to pick it when it's young, or else it'll be extremely bitter. Dandelion tea is said to be good for colds, diabetes, tuberculosis, rheumatism, and arthritis.
Simmer two ounces of the sliced root in two pints of water. Boil it down to one pint. Drink half of a glass two or three times a day. Or you can take two to four fluid ounces of a decoction each day.
2. The roots can be made into a caffeine free coffee that works well for insomnia and digestive problems. First, roast the roots until they're brown and hard. Then grind them into a power and brew like regular coffee.
3. Inside the stem of the dandelion is a milky substance that dries up warts quicker than any commercial product. Simply squeeze the stem until the "milk" exudes and apply it to the wart. Let the milk dry and don't wash it off. When it has disappeared, apply it again.
Do this religiously, and your warts should start turning black and falling off in three or four days.

Vitamins may help you ditch your inhaler!
The following email came to me from "House Calls With Dr. William B. Ferril". It is astonishing what a deficiency in Vitamins can cause and how much they can help to reverse health problems.

That makes perfect sense. Asthma, like many other conditions, is often the body's cry for something it lacks.
In this case, the researchers found that asthma sufferers tend to be deficient in the antioxidant vitamins A and C. I've looked closely at their research, and not only is it solid, but it confirms much I've what I've found here at my practice.
But what I really like about this report is that it's not based on just one study. These researchers actually looked at 40 studies conducted between 1980 and 2007 -- nearly three decades of results -- to reach their conclusion.
And when they did, they found that asthmatics had much lower levels of vitamin A -- between a quarter and a third of the recommended daily dose.
The study also found that patients with severe asthma had lower levels of vitamin C than those with milder asthma. The severe asthmatics had around half of the recommended daily amount.
Having less C in the blood and eating less of the foods rich in it increased the risk of asthma by 12 percent.
The researchers also learned that deficiencies of vitamin E might help worsen asthma. People with less E -- around 20 percent below the recommended dose -- tended to have more severe asthma than those with higher levels of the vitamin in their blood.
I've had great success in helping asthmatics by focusing on allergies and nutritional deficiencies -- and not just vitamins A, C, and E.
I've found that many of the folks who suffer from asthma lack magnesium. That's one of the many problems with the modern diet -- processed foods have very little of it, so people who eat too much of that garbage end up with a body crying out for help.
Simple lifestyle corrections and nutritional supplements can work wonders for asthmatics. I've seen plenty of people throw away their inhalers when they've gotten the nutrients they need for better breathing."

The legend of Da hong Pao “Big Red Robe” is possibly the most famous. The legend goes that Shen, a servant of the court was near death while on a quest for the emperor. Cure Conjunctivitis With Apple Cider Vinegar
I had a severe case of conjunctivitis or pink eye a while back. I tried all the usual drops etc but it did not work. I decided to use my good ole standby, apple cider vinegar. I put a little in a cap and held it on my eye. Ouch! It stings and you cannot open your eye until the sting goes away. After one dousing, my eye was much better. However, I continued to use it for a few more days. It worked like a charm!

It is no secret anymore that animals are confined and tortured all over the world, in intensive operations. It is also no secret that these vast animal concentration camps provide ideal breeding grounds for all sorts of infectious diseases.
When animals are deprived of basic requirements such as sunlight, fresh air and space, and their 'living' conditions are terrifying, stressful and filthy beyond belief, the only way the outbreak of disease can be kept at bay is by pumping the animals full of antibiotics. It seems obvious that this causes mutant strains of infectious diseases to develop, diseases that will eventually, one way or another, transfer to people.
Our society has chosen to close its eyes to the horrendous conditions in animal food production operations everywhere, and as a result, we must now learn our lesson. Some might call it a matter of karma. On another level, it is a simple matter of the fact that our careless, thoughtless and heartless practices have created this situation. We can only hide from it for so long. At some stage, the results must come to the surface.

Why is food grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) important to the body?

I have been using 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide in my drinking water for over three years. "I add 7.5 ml (1 1/2 teaspoons) of 3% or food grade H2O2 to a gallon of distilled water to make my .006% H2O2 for my drinking water. I have some clients who add less (1 teaspoon) and some who add more (up to 2 teaspoons - I suggest you never go higher than two teaspoons of H2O2). In this respect, everyone is different. Personal Uses for 3% & 4.5% Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)
Athlete's foot: Hydrogen peroxide can be used in a foot bath for athlete's foot, bunions, corns, plantar warts and general foot health. Diabetics have found relief from circulation problems by soaking their feet in this solution. Add 1 pint of 3% or 4.5% food grade H2O2 to 1gallon of warm, clean/distilled water and soak for 30 minutes morning and night. This practice will improve the overall oxygen content of the blood.
Bath: Add 1 pint /1 quart of 6% food grade H2O2 to a tub (about 40 gallons) of filtered hot water (chlorine kills oxygen) and soak for about 30 minuites. I tape up the overflow so I can fill the tub.
Children: In 1928 Richard Simmons, M.D. hypothesized that colds and flu virus enter the body through the ear canal. The medical community dismissed his findings. According to Dr. Simmons research, and contrary to what you may think or have been taught about how you catch the flu or a cold, there is only one way that you can acquire this air-born infection; and that's via the ear canal. Giving a child one or two drops (adults may need three or four) of hydrogen peroxide in each ear at the first sign of infection, may shorten the duration of the illness. I encourage you to use food grade H2O2, when you choose to follow this practice. I say this because theoretically, this is the equivalent of using H2O2 as a mouthwash; something the FDA has already approved. Note; It may make a gurgling sound in the ear so its important to prepare the child for what is coming and explain to them the benefit of the practice. It is also possible to use a cotten swab dipped in 3% or 4.5% food grade hydrogen peroxide to clean the ears.
