Salmonella, Montezuma's Revenge

Having gone through Hurricane Wilma boarded up in a school in Cancun in 2005, we returned to our hotel to contaminated water among other things. People were getting sick and had terrible diarrhea. I told them to take scraped apple (I grate it) in cold tea. It works everytime! My sister had salmonella poisoning as a baby and was given 24 hours to live. Someone told my mother about this and she is alive and well at 60! All you do is use room temperature water and 2 tea bags. punch the tea bags with a spoon until you get a good black tea. Grate 1/2 an apple into it and drink as much as you can until you feel better, usually fairly quickly but definitely within 24 hours. It stops the diarrhea almost immediately.
