We have had 4 bassett hounds and the first 3 ate commercial dog food. All three had many problems throughout their lives and terrible teeth. Our latest bassett is now 8 1/2 years old. He has been on the BARF diet since he was 6 months old. He has been to a vet for an ear infection in 8 years. His teeth are beautiful and he has the softest, loveliest fur!! This is the best thing you can do for your dogs and will save you a great deal of money. Our food costs for raw chicken backs and necks, yogurt, eggs and vegetables amounts to about $1/day!

my dog has been on the barf (bones and raw food) diet for 8 years and people still think he is a puppy. his teeth are immaculate, he has the energy and playfulness of a puppy and if it weren't for his tiny bit of grey fur, you wouldn't know his age.
