I have a book called "Feed Your Genes Right, Eat to Turn Off Disease- Causing Genes and Slow Down Aging" by John Wiley and Sons. It is an extremely interesting book and explains how we need to eat and take care of ourselves. Very interestingly, they give case studies of many people and how they have overcome many diseases with Vitamins. One in particular stood out about Osteoporosis. They increased her Vitamin D, had her walk in the sun for 15-30 minutes a day and do some weight bearing excercises. This increased her bone density. Other examples are:
